This page describes what BareFlag does with your data. The short version: we don't keep it. Keep reading if you'd like the details.
What we collect
Content you submit: Screenshots and text you upload for analysis are processed in real time and immediately discarded. We don't store the content of your conversations on any server.
Technical data: BareFlag uses your IP address temporarily to enforce rate limits on analysis requests, and to prevent abuse of the feedback forms. These IP records are kept only as long as the rate limit window (one hour) and are not used for analytics, profiling, location tracking, or advertising. We don't use any third-party analytics services. We don't track page views, sessions, or user behavior.
No account required: BareFlag doesn't require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the analysis feature.
What we don't do
- We don't store your conversations on our servers
- We don't use your submissions to train AI models
- We don't sell your data to third parties
- We don't share your submissions with anyone
- We can't retrieve past analyses
- We don't run analytics, tracking pixels, session recording, or any third-party data collection of any kind
How AI analysis works
Your submitted text or screenshot is sent to an AI provider (Google Gemini via Lovable Cloud) for analysis. This provider processes your content to generate the analysis and doesn't retain it under our enterprise agreement. The AI response is returned to you and immediately discarded.
Safety considerations
If you're in a situation where an abusive person might monitor your device, we recommend:
- Using private or incognito browsing mode
- Clearing your browser history after use
- Accessing BareFlag from a device the other person doesn't have access to
Use the Leave quickly link at the bottom right at any time to immediately leave the site.
Your rights
Because we don't retain your data, there's no stored information to delete, correct, or export. Every analysis session is ephemeral.
